Bonjour à toutes et à tous!

Welcome to Paris à la Carte, a survival guide for international students living in Paris.

We are a group of French and international students who initially moved to Paris full of hopes and dreams, but quickly discovered that life in the City of Lights isn’t always as glamorous as your favorite Emily in Paris episode.

While many of us have had our fair share of romance, friendship and joy, none of us has been immune to experiences filled with confusion and culture shock.

Through this newsletter, we aim to share our stories and tips with you and other fellow international students — whether you’re preparing to move to France, have recently arrived, or are a seasoned étudiant(e)

We hope our content will help you navigate Paris with more ease, understand French culture with additional insight, and maybe even discover hidden gems
